Nonna’s Italian Food Bar

Nonna’s (Grandma’s) was always the favourite place to visit for most of us, while growing up, and even now too. Grandma’s was the place where we spent the holidays, got to meet all the other cousins and where we all had the tastiest food – to eat till your hearts content and then more! It was also the place where you could ask for whatever meal you wanted and you knew would get it. The food was custom made for your taste buds and she always got it right. Review: Olaplex Hair Treatment

Ola Ola Olaplex (not the ice-cream ;)) After much reading and fighting my inner and very argumentative thoughts, I tried out the Olaplex hair treatment. I initially assumed that this treatment is for coloured hair and that it is a treatment used to minimise the harsh effects of hair bleaching and colouring. All you need to do is massage it into your hair and then comb the spray […]

LIMA Tapas Bar

Last night, on a whim, with not much options in the area, we settled on dinner at LIMA Tapas Bar at Monte Casino.  For the record, I am not a huge fan of Monte Casino, but out of convenience I find myself there every now and then.  Oh, my review on Ingenuite was probably the last time I was there. After a quick visit to Skoobs and two books later, we decided to give the fairly new (approximately 3 months) LIMA Tapas Bar a try.  As some of you know,  I am vegetarian, so, I often have to screen the menu to avoid disappointment after being seated. On entering, you are greeted with unique decor and a front desk (yes a restaurant with a huge […]
